Opera Prima Pink Moscato
This is a fairly new Moscato from Spain. It's a slightly different style of Moscato that is lightly sweet, crisp, refreshing and bubbly. Pink Moscatos are really hot right now and this is a fun wine. $9.99 per 750 ml.
Painted Wolf The Den Chenin Blanc 2009
This is a versatile wine that might provide you with an alternative to Chardonnay for your Thanksgiving turkey. While France is the original home of Chenin Blanc, South Africa now grows twice as much as anyone else, and that's where our Painted Wolf comes from. This is a rich, full bodied wine with almond and brioche notes up front, moving on to tropical flavors of melon, pineapple and vanilla. The wine remains fresh through a rounded, friendly finish that lets out a buttery hint. $12.99 per 750 ml.
Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2009
If you have to have a red for Thanksgiving, this is the one! A light and jazzy red, displaying pretty cherry and raspberry fruit on a deftly balanced frame, it has the soft, smooth tannins that wouldn't overpower a turkey dinner. There is a long, balanced finish, lingering nicely. $19.99 per 750 ml.
